6 5 GETTING STARTED • Remove all packing material, labels and any stickers. • Remove and save literature. • Unpack mounting washers, screws and spacers for mounting and set them aside in a safe place where they will not roll away or get lost. Important: Do not attempt to operate appliance until it is properly installed.
8 7 Important: The hood/deflector of the toaster oven is removable to make installation easier. To remove, pull forward slightly on the hood to release the front hooks (F).
10 9 Important: Do not align screw holes on template with the partition between cabinets, as this will prevent you from installing the appliance properly. Pay close attention to where the drill holes will be set so as not to damage your cabinets during mounting.
12 11 How to Use This appliance is for household use only. GETTING STARTED • Please go to www.prodprotect.com/applica to register your warranty. • Wash all removable parts as instructed in CARE AND CLEANING section of this manual. • Wipe outside of appliance with a damp cloth; dry thoroughly.
13 14 • Turn timer to OFF before inserting or removing plug from electrical outlet. • Do not put any container directly on the lower heating element. • To obtain the best performance from this toaster oven: • Do not overfill the oven. • Do not open the door too frequently during cooking to avoid heat loss.
15 16 Note: You must set the toast shade selector as desired for the oven to begin toasting (Q) . 5. For best results on first toasting cycle set the toast selector dial to medium, then re- adjust for next cycle to lighter or darker to suit your preference.
17 18 TROUBLESHOOTING PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION Oven is not heating or stops heating. Second toasting is too dark. Moisture forms on the inside of the door during toasting. Food is overcooked or undercooked. There is a burnt food odor or smoking when oven is in use.

25 26 Importante: La cubierta / deflector del horno tostador es removible para facilitar la instalación. Para quitar, tire de la cubierta ligeramente hacia adelante para soltar los ganchos delanteros (F). Una vez que los ganchos delanteros se han soltado, los ganchos en la parte trasera se desprenden fácilmente.
27 28 5. Una vez con el papel seguro en su lugar contra el labio, doble el resto de la plantilla de montaje nuevamente por debajo de la superficie del gabinete, doblando de manera que permanezca contra la parte trasera del labio y por debajo del gabinete (K) .
