6 ASSEMBL Y Assembly tools required (not supplied) • Phillips screwdriver A TT ACHING HANDLE TO UNIT (FIGURE A) • Align the D-handle with the main body of the unit and push it down until it is fully seated as shown in figure A . • Remove the phillips head screw from the plastic bag.
7 • Release the pivot lock trigger (3) to lock the vac in any of the three different working positions ( figures E,F & G ). • Figure H illustrates a typical application of vacuuming under furniture and other hard to reach places. OPERA TION • Before first use, the battery must be charged for at least 21 hours.
8 TROUBLESHOOTING If the product does not work, check the following: • The charger was correctly plugged in for recharge. (It feels slightly warm to the touch.) • The charger cord is not damaged and is correctly attached to the base. • The charger is plugged into a working electrical outlet.

13 BASE DE CHARGE (FIGURE B) • Déposer la base de charge (6) sur le plancher près d’une prise électrique. Le modèle PSV1800 se range et se charge sur la base lorsqu’il est inutilisé. A VER TISSEMENT : RISQUE DE CHUTE OU DE TRÉBUCHEMENT . Ne pas placer la base de charge sur une surface élevée.
14 Une fois dégagée, la section pivotera librement sur le corps de l’appareil afin de permettre le nettoyage. • Ne jamais immerger le produit dans l’eau. Pour nettoyer la surface externe de la section du moteur , utiliser un chiffon humide et de l’eau savonneuse.
