4 5 Assembly Adjusting the dust collector (fig. A - C) The dust collector (1) has a brush that can be folded forward for dusting and upholstery cleaning. • The dust collector (1) is stored under the appliance. T o adjust for use, unplug the appliance from the charger (7).
6 7 • The dust container (1 1) is attached to the body of the appliance with a bayonet fixing. T o remove the dust container , press the dust container release button (2) and rotate the dust container (1 1) counterclockwise and carefully slide the dust container clear of the appliance.
8 9 BA TTER Y REMOV AL AND DISPOSAL This product uses nickel-cadmium (Ni-Cd) rechargeable and recyclable batteries. When the batteries no longer hold a charge, they should be removed from the V ac and recycled. They must not be incinerated or composted.

14 15 Utiliser • Avant la première utilisation, la pile doit être chargée pendant au moins 24 heures. • Brancher lʼappareil dans le chargeur chaque fois que sa puissance devient faible. CHARGE DE LA PILE (FIG. D) • Sʼassurer que lʼappareil est éteint.
16 17 Remplacement des filtres Les filtres doivent être remplacés tous les 6 à 9 mois et chaque fois quʼils sont usés ou endommagés. Des filtres de rechange sont offerts auprès du détaillant Black & Decker local (nº de cat. PVF1 10) : • Retirer les anciens filtres selon les indications ci-dessus.
