0 5. T urn off the coff eemaker; empty the c araf e and discar d the paper filter, if used. 6. Fill the r eservoir with cold water to the 12-cup line, r eplace the empty car afe and then turn on the coff eemaker f or a compl ete brew cycl e to flush out the r emaining cleaning solution.
