3 Set Up Y our X OHM Modem F ollow the se instructions to se t up your X OHM Modem. 1. Disconnect any existing LAN (Etherne t) connections or rout ers fr om your c omput er . F or activation, the computer will need to connect t o the Int ernet thr ough the X OHM Modem.
c Inser t one end of the supplied Etherne t c able t o y our comput er and the other end int o the y ellow LAN 1 por t on the modem. ( The LAN 1 LED should illuminate. ) 4. Use the modem se tup assistant t o check y our X OHM Signal Str ength. It may take a f ew moments f or the signal to find y our modem.
6. W ait f or activation and pro visioning to c omplet e. ( Activation by X OHM is t ypically f ast but may tak e several minut es. ) c During provisioning, mak e sur e that y ou do not disc onnect y our modem. Doing so will interrup t the proce ss.
