10 1. Place your fi nger in t he slot at the bottom of the back cov er to lift and remove it. 2. Hold the 4G LTE SIM car d with its c ut corner oriented as s hown and s lip it into the card holder.
11 3. Align the con nectors on t he phone and the battery and s lide the bat tery into the compartment. Th en gently press the bat tery down until it i s secured. 4. Hold your microSDHC card with the metal contacts faci ng dow n and slide it int o the microSDHC car d slot.
12 NOTE: Some applications may require a microSDHC card to work normally or may store certain dat a on it. Therefore, it is recommended that you keep a microSDHC card inst alled and not remove or replace it randomly . 5. Align the bac k cover wi th the back of the phone and pr ess the cov er back int o place.
13 Powering On/Off Your Phone Make sure the bat tery is char ged before pow ering on. Press and hol d the Power Key to turn on your phone. T o tu rn it off, pres s and hold the Power Ke y to open the opti ons menu.

Y ou can customize y our home scr een by adding application s hortcuts, folders, w idgets, and more. 16 Managing Notifications The status bar at the top of the screen prov ides notification al erts w ith different icon s on the left side. Bel ow are some of t he icons and th eir meanings. The notificati ons depend on the ap ps installed and you can t ouch and d rag the st atus bar dow n to see more inf ormation.
17 Adjusting Volumes To adjust call v olume, press th e Volume Key while on a ca ll. To adjus t other volumes, follow the steps bel ow. 1. Touch the Home Key > > Settings > Sound > Volumes . 2. Drag the sliders to adjust the volume for music, video, games, and other media, the ringtone and notification volume, and the alarm volume.
18 T ouch the currently selected profile to make some change . NOTE: Y ou can also launch Dolby and selec t a profile from the Settings app ( Sound > Dolby Digital Plus ). Setting a Screen Lock Y ou can protect your p hone by crea ting a scre en lock.

20 Importing Contacts in Batche s 1. T ouch the Home Key > . 2. T ouch the Menu Key > Import/export > Import from phone st orage . 3. If prompted, se lect an acc ount in which to save the cont acts. 4. Select the vCard file( s) (*.vcf) and touch OK to begin importing.
21 Setting Up Email Accounts Setting Up Gmail 1. T ouch in the home screen and select Gmail . NOTE: If another Gm ail account is already set up, touch the Menu Key > Settings > A DD ACCOUNT . 2. T ouch Existing to sign in to your ex isting Google Account.
