ZDTV WIRELESS KEYBOARD QUICK START This Quick Start describes how to use your wireless keyboard with any Windows 7, Vist a, or XP computer. It also describes how to enjoy special featur es of the keyboard when you us e an HDMI cable to connect a Windo ws 7 or Vista computer’s HDMI port to an HDTV.
Step 3: Connecting an HDTV to your computer For Windows 7 If you have a Windows 7 computer with an HDMI port, we highly recommend that you try using the computer with an HDTV and the wireless keyboard. T his is particularly convenient with a not ebook or small desktop c omputer.
If you are prompted to enter a 4-character Activatio n Code during software installation, please enter the appropriate c ode for your country/region from the table bel ow. If a dialog box appears to upgrade ZDT V, select Upgrade No w and click Continue .
FOR NOTEBOOKS ONLY: From Display Settings select your HDTV from the drop-do wn menu. Select the checkbo x “This is my main monitor” . Then select the notebook screen from the drop- down menu. Un-check the box “Extend the desktop onto this monito r” .
Step 8: Using the keyboard with an HDTV For Windows 7, Vista, and XP ZDTV provides browser soft ware that is designed to help you fi nd and enjoy streaming media and oth er Internet sites for viewing on your HDTV. Ho wever, you do not need to use ZDTV browser soft wa re to enjoy the Internet or an y of the features of your PC on your HDTV.
When Magnify is ON, you hold dow n the Fn key and press an arrow to either co ntrol the magnification level inside the Magnify Box or to change th e Magnify Box size, as follows: Magnification Level M.
