Configuring and Pairing the Adapter Pairing is the procedure that e stablishes a wireless link between two Bluetooth devic es. To pair your Adapter with anot her Bluetooth-enabled devic e – for example, your laptop, PDA, headset, mobile/c ell phone, printer, scann er or digital camera: 1 Turn on your computer if it is not already on.
5 To start pairing with another device, first turn on the desired device, make sure it is within a few meters of your computer, is discoverable (visible to other devices), and is in pairing mode. (Some devices are autom atically discoverable and in pairing m ode when they are turned on.

10 Notes on Pairing • If the Adapter fails to pair with the desired device, move the device closer to the Adapter and start the pairing process again. • Pairing usually takes onl y about 10 seconds. However, it can take up to three minutes if there are other Bluetooth- enabled devices nearby that you don't want to pair with.
