Part No 360314 Form No F031708A 9 AE Owner’s Manual TINES RAISING/LOWERING The tines are raised or lowered into the ground by op erating the tine engagement lever on the upper handl e. Tine penetration is very dependent on surface p reparation. READ the entire operation secti on before aerating.

AERATE: Engage the operators clutch bail by pushin g it pulli ng it backwards from the handle, and start aerating.

Loosen but do not remove the outermost nut and carri age bolt that secure the damaged or worn tine. 3. Loosen and remove the innermost nut and ca rriage bolt that hold the tine in the reel.

Remove the top guard by removing the four nut s, two on each side, that secure it to the frame. 3. Slide the belt off of the engine drive pulle y, and off of the jackshaft drive pulley.
