Super Quick A very short cycle for lightly soile d items or for laundry which needs only freshenin g up. We recommend that you reduce the amount of fabric you load. Pull out the dispenser drawer until it stops. Me asure out the amount of detergent required, pour it into the main wash compartme nt or in the appropriate com- partment if the selecte d programme/option it require s (see more details in "D etergent dispense r drawer").
Altering an option or a running programme It is possi ble to chan ge so me options before the pro- gramme carries them out. Before yo u make any change , you must PAUSE the ap- pliance by pre ssing the button 6 . Changing a running progr amme is possible only by re- setting it.
Removing stains Stubborn s tains may no t be removed by just water and detergent. It is therefore advi sa ble to treat them prior to washing. Blood: trea t fresh stains w ith cold water. For drie d stains, so ak overnig ht in water with a speci al detergen t then rub in the soap an d water.

Problem Possible cau se/Solution The machine do es not start : The door has not been closed . • Close the door firmly . The plug is not properly in serted in the power socket. • Insert the plug into the pow er socket. There is no power at the socket .
Problem Possible cau se/Solution There is water on the floor: Too much detergent or unsuitable de tergent (creates too much foam) has been used. • Reduce the detergent quantity or use a nother one. Check whether there are any leaks from one of the inlet hose fittings.
Problem Possible cau se/Solution Spinning starts late or the ma chine does not spin: The electronic unbala nce detection devic e has cut in becaus e the laundry is not evenly distributed in the drum. The laundry is redistribu ted by reverse rotation of the drum.

Replace the drawer and run the ri nse programme with- out any clot hes in the drum . Cleaning the pump The pump should be inspecte d regularly and particular- ly if: • the applia nce does not empty and/ or spin; • the applianc e makes an unusual noise during drain- ing due to obj ects such as safety pins, co ins etc.
Cleaning the water inlet filters Important! If the appliance doesn' t fill , takes long to fill with water, the starting bu tton blinks yellow or the display (i f available ) shows the rel evant alarm (se e chapter "Wha t to do if..." fo r more details), check if the water inlet filters are block ed .
After removing all the packaging, carefully lay machine on it's bac k to re- move the polystyrene base from the bo ttom. Remove the power supply cable and th e hoses from the hose holders on the rear of the ap pliance. Unscrew the three bolts . Slide out th e relevant pla s- tic spa cers.
The other end of the inle t ho se which c onnects to the appliance can be turned a s showed in the p icture. Do not place the inlet hos e downwards. Angle the hose to the left or right depe nding on the position of your water tap. Set the hose correctly by loos ening the ring nut.
If the outlet spigot ha s not been used before, re- move any blanking plug that may be in place . Push the dra in hose onto the spigot and secure with a clip, ensure a loop is formed in the drain hose (see above) to pre- vent waste f rom the sink entering t he applianc e.
