The cooling fan The cooling fan comes on immedi ately the top oven or grill is switched on. It may run on a fter the ovens are switched off until the a ppliance has cooled.
Important! Always grill with the door closed. Switching the Oven On a nd Off 1. Turn the oven functio ns dial to the desired function. 2. Turn the te mperature sele ctor to the desire d temper- ature. 3. To turn the oven off, turn the oven functions dial and the temperature selector to the Off position.
Clock Functions • Countdown - See approp riate chapter on setup. A signal sounds after the time has elapsed. This function does not affect the functioning of the oven. • Cook time - is used to set the desire d period of cooking time. • End time - when set the appliance is turned off at desired t ime.

• To preve nt escapi ng meat ju ices or fat from burning on to the pan, we recommend placing some liquid in the roasting cookware. • If required, turn the roast after 1/2 - 2/3 of the cook ing time. • Use the cooking juices to baste large roa sts and poultry several times during the cooking time.
• A 1kg/2¼lb oven ready chi cken will be thawed in ap- proximat ely 5 hours. Remove the giblets as soon as possible during the thawing process. • Joints of meat up to 2kg/4½lb in weig ht can be thawed using the defrost function. • All joints of meat and poultry must be thawed thor- oughly before cooking.

Oven door glass The oven door comp rises 2,3 or 4 panels of g lass (de- pends of the model) mounted one on top of another. The interior glass panels can be removed for cleaning. Important! Important: Roug h handling, especially around the edges of the fr ont panel, ca n cause the glass t o break.
C D E On the open side of the door strip (B) there is a guide bar (C). This must be pressed be tween the outer side of the door and the corner (D). Cleaning inside the grill and oven compartments The vitreous enamel coa ting in the grill/top oven and main oven compartm ents can be clea ned using n ormal oven cleaners with care. Ensure that the manufact urer s instructions are followed and that all pa rts are well rins ed afterwards.
Problem Possible Solution The oven is no t cooking ev enly. Check that the a ppliance is correctly ins talled and is level. Check that the rec ommended temperatures and s helf positions are being used. The oven light fails to illumina te. The oven light bulb may need rep lacing.
