7 Impor tant inf ormation ZMB 30CST t Connecting to the mains • The ov en is delivered with the po wer cord and a plug f or 230-240 V , 50Hz, ear thed sock et outlet. • Ear th protection minimizes the risks should a shor t-circuit occur . Check to ensure the voltage of the o ven matches the supply .
8 ZMB 30CST t General • The appliance should only be operated with the turntable and turntable suppor t inser ted. • Only suitable micro wa ve o venw are should be used. • T o protect the appliance against corrosion from moisture (condensation) in the cavity or on the door , wipe these areas dr y after each use.
9 ZMB 30CST t Safety instructions • Whenev er heating liquid, please also place a teaspoon in the container to av oid dela yed boiling. During delay ed boiling, the boiling temperature is attained without the typical steam bub bles rising.
10 ZMB 30CST t • The viewing windo w heats up during grilling and convection cooking (and in combination with microw av e cooking), so keep small children aw ay from the appliance . • The cooking area, the grill heating elements, the rac k, and the turntable become v er y hot during all modes.

16 ZMB 30CST t The turntable and tur ntab le suppor t should be installed as shown in the diagr am. T ake care to ensure the turntable suppor t is properly in place. The tur ntab le may turn clockwise or counterclockwise during operation. Do not tr y to rotate the turntable suppor t manually , as you could damage the driv e mechanism.
17 ZMB 30CST t Setting the cloc k Example: 12:15 hrs 1. Plug the appliance into the mains. «12:00» together with the clock symbol flashes in the displa y . 2. Set the time of day , e.g. 12:15 with the selector knob 1) . Press ST ART , the appliance is now ready f or use.
18 ZMB 30CST t Action 1.Place food in the cooking space . 2.Shut the door . 3.Select the time and mode of cooking according to the instructions given on the f ollowing pages. 4. If required : s witch off the tur ntable . 2) 5.Press the ST AR T button .
19 ZMB 30CST t Action • Open the door e.g. f or stirr ing. • Shut the door and press the ST ART button . • Press the CLEAR button once. • Press the CLEAR button twice. • Modify the selected cooking time: turn the selector knob clockwise or anti-clockwise .
20 ZMB 30CST t Micro wave In this mode, micro wa ves generate heat directly in the f ood. This mode is highly suitable f or warming, for e xample , ready cooked f ood and drinks, the defrosting of meat or vegetab les, and f or cooking f ood like fish and v egetables .

Press the MICRO W A VE button , 900W and the microw av e symbol appear in the displa y together with the clock symbol and 00:00. Set the microw av e power b y pressing the MICRO W A VE button till the desired micro wa ve po wer is displa yed, e.
