6 USES OF THE HOB The gas hob has f our d iffer ent burner s izes to suit diff erent types of cook ing: To ens ure m aximum burner eff icienc y onl y use pots and pans with f lat bases appro priat e to the bur ner size used.

10 CLEANING THE HOB BURNER PARTS AND PAN SUPPORT Take care no t to damag e the sp ark electrodes. If damaged they will not light. Please note t hat du e to the n ature of stai nless steel the pan su pport will tar nish thr ough use o ver a period of tim e.
11 REPLACING THE HOB BURNER P ARTS 1. Crown to burn er bod y Do not forc e the crown o n to the burner bod y. Make sure the hole i n the cr own is o ver the electrod e. Check that the loc ation pegs sit in th e slots in the body. Chec k that the c rown c an be moved s lightl y from s ide to side.
