4 OPERA TION Before using Remov e all securing tapes. W ash inside the appliance with luke warm water and bicarbonate of soda (5 ml to 0.5 litre of water).
5 Fast-freezing For f ast-freezing, push the f ast freeze s witch (D). The super control light (C) will then light up. The F ast-freezing function accelerates the freezing of fresh food and, at the same time , protects foodstuffs already stored from undesir able warming.
6 Normal Operating Sounds • Y ou may hear f aint gurgling or bub bling sounds when the refrigerant is pumped through the coils or tubing at the rear , to the cooling plate/ev aporator or to the fix ed freezer shelv es.
7 Mov able shelves The walls of the refrigerator hav e runners so that the shelves can be positioned as desired . For better use of space , the front half-shelves can lie ov er the rear ones. 8 Food Storage • T o obtain the best results from your appliance, neither hot foods nor liquids which ma y ev aporate, should be placed in the larder compar tment. • K eep the time between buying chilled f ood and placing it in your fridge as shor t as possible .
Defrosting Refrigerator The refrigerator automatically defrosts ev ery time the compressor stops. The water is discharged, via the pipe, into a tra y located at the back of the appliance abov e the compressor , where it ev aporates.

17 Fit the appliance in the niche by making sure that it stands against the interior surface of the unit on the side where the door hinges of the appliances are fitted. Inser t the appliance until the upper strip butts up against the unit (1) and make sure that the low er hinge is in line with the surface of the unit (2).
18 Place guide (Ha) on the inside par t of the furniture door , up and down as shown in the figure and mark the position of external holes. After having drilled holes, fix the guide with the screws supplied.
19 If the appliance is fixed to the side of the kitchen unit, simply slack en the screws in fixing brac kets (E), mov e the brack ets as shown in the figure and re- tighten the screws. After completion of the door rev ersing operation, check that the door gask et adheres to the cabinet.
