4 If the subject to be viewed is in a completely dark area, including lowlight shadow areas, activate the infrared illuminator by pressing the “IR” Button (2) located next to "ON" button.
5 Direct your NV 5x60 device at an object at a distance approximately 100 m. (1 10 yds). Adjust the eyepiece and objective lens diopter setting to focus the unit by rotating the eyepiece (4) and objective lens (5). After the adjustment, do not rotate the eyepiece irrespective of the distance and other conditions.
6 The scope will not turn on... Check that the battery is installed properly . Install the battery according to the (+) and (-) polarity , ensuring that the markings on the battery and battery compartment correspond with one another . Check the battery contact to ensure it is clean and free of corrosion; if necessary , clean the contact.

26 9 Pour installer la pile CR123A dévisser le couvercle de la case de piles. Insérer la pile dans sa case de manière que le bout positif et le bout négatif de la piles harmonisent avec le marquage à l'intérieur de la case. Remettre soigneusement le couvercle de la case de piles.
