1 Introduction Thank you for purchasing a Y orkville powered mixer . We at Y orkville Sound are confi - den t that you will find the MM5D to be an ex cellent and versatile mixer/amplifi er .
2 Input Channels 1. MIC and LINE Inputs The MM5D features XLR low-impedan ce micr ophon e connectors on the channels. These micr o - phon e inputs are balanced for maxim um noise suppression. The 24 V olt DC phantom power is presen t on all 5 XLR input jacks for conden ser micr ophones .
3 Master Section 1. MAIN Control The MAIN control adjusts the overall level of the main mix, the P A volume . Note: T o ensure maximum sig - na l he ad ro om and cla rit y , fir st set the MAIN le vel.
4 Digital Effects Processor 1. Select EFX Control Use the EFX Selection control to choose from the sixteen 24-bit digital reverbs, delays and other effects. This con- trol rotates continu ously , which lets you rotate clockwise or counter-clockwise to select the desir ed effect.
5 MM5D Rear P anel 1. P ow er Amplifiers Each channel of the MM5D’s power amplifiers has a ¼-inch phon e jack and a Speakon jack for speaker connecti ons.
6 General Operating Instructions 1. Connect the AC power cord to a 120 Volt AC ground ed power outlet (230 to 245 Volts in export units). 2. T urn the CHANNEL level controls , EFX level controls , Record , and T ape/CD level controls , and MAIN master level control to 0 initially .

9 Canaux d’Entrées 1. Entrées MIC et LIGNE Le MM5D est doté sur ses canaux de connecteurs de type XLR à basse impédan ce pour micr ophone . Ces entrées pour micr ophon e sont électriquement équilibrées de façon à obtenir une suppression maxim um du bruit.
10 4. Commande EFX de Canal La comman de EFX (envoi aux effets) de chaque canal règle le niveau du signal de ce canal étant acheminé au bus d’effet du MM5D . Ce signal est post command e LEVEL et post EQ, il est donc affecté par les command es CHANNEL EQ et CHANNEL LEVEL .
