The supply and return air duct systems should be designed for the CFM and static requirements of the job. They should NO T be sized to match the dimensions of the duct connections on the unit. CAUTION: Wh en fa st ening ductwork to the side duct flanges on the unit, insert the screws through the duct flanges only .
DISCONNECT SWITCH BRACKET FOR UNITS WITH OPTIONAL BEL T -DRIVE BRACKET A special bracket for mounting a field-supplied disconnect switch is provided in each unit ordered with an optional belt- drive supply air blower . The bracket is shipped inside the blower compartment taped to the top of the blower housing.

COOLING SYSTEM The cooling section is a complete factory package utilizing an air-cooled condenser . The system is factory-charged with Refrigerant-22. The compressor is hermetically sealed and internally sprung. The compressors have inherent (internal) protection.
SAFETY CONTROLS (Heating) The control circuit includes the following safety controls: 1. Limit Control (LS). This control is located inside the heat exchanger compartment and is set to open at the temperature indicated in T able 12. It resets automatically .
PILOT CHECKOUT The pilot flame should envelope 3/8 inches of the end of the flame sensor . Refer to Figure 12. T o adjust pilot flame, (1) remove pilot adjustment cover screw , (2) adjust the screw for the proper pilot flame, (3) be sure to replace cover screw after adjustment to prevent possible gas leakage.
NOTE: The tubes must be inserted and held in a position per - pendicular to the air flow so that velocity pressure will not affect the static pressure readings. 3. Using an inclined manometer , determine the pressure drop across a dry evaporator coil.
NORMAL MAINTENANCE CAUTION: Prior to any of the following maintenance proce - dures, shut off all power to the unit to prevent per - sonal injury . Periodic maintenance normally consists of changing or cleaning filters and (under some conditions) cleaning the main burners.
WARNING: T roubleshooting of components necessarily re - quires opening the electrical control box with the power connected to the unit. Use extreme care when working with live circuits! Check the unit nameplate for the correct line voltage and set the volt meter to the correct range before making any connections with line terminals.
6. The pilot burner ignites but the sparker continues to spark and the main burners do not ignite. a. Make the same checks and adjustments as described in Item 5. b.Make sure that the pilot burner is not bent or damaged. c. Make sure that the ground connections at the pilot burner , gas valve and ignitor control are intact.
