GENERAL YORK Model DEE units are single package air conditioners designed for outdoor installation on a rooftop or a slab. Electric heaters are available as field-installed accessories. The units are completely assembled on rigid, permanently attached base rails.

All direct-drive units with 460 and 575 voltage are shipped with the wire labeled #1 16 connected to the “HIGH” speed tap on the blower motor . If the medium speed is required, connect wire #1 16 to the “MED” speed tap and the blue motor lead to the “HIGH” speed tap.
10. T o check that the damper blades move smoothly without binding, carefully turn the minimum position adjusting screw fully clockwise and then energize and de-energize terminals “R” to “G”. With terminals “R” to “G” energized, turn the minimum position screw counterclockwise until the desired minimum position has been attained.

Install the bracket on the left hand side of the unit as shown in Figure 5. Several existing screws at the top of the unit and one screw approximately midway down from the top will be used for mounting the bracket. Screws should be loosened only - NOT REMOVED.

The heaters are wired for a single point power supply . Power supply need only be brought into the single point terminal block and thermostat wiring to the low voltage terminal strip located in the upper portion of the unit control box. Fuses are supplied, where required, by the factory .
HEA T ANTICIP ATOR SETPOINTS It is important that the anticipator setpoint be correct. T oo high of a setting will result in longer heat cycles and a greater temperature swing in the conditioned space.
