7 SECTION 3: ASSEMBLING YOUR LAWN MOWER Unpacking • Remove s taples, break glue on top flap s, or cut tape at cart on end and peel al ong top flap to op en carton. • Remove lo ose parts if in cluded wit h unit (i.e., owner ’ s m anual, e tc.). • Cut along c orners and la y carton down fl at.

9 • Hold the bag and frame so the bag ha ngs from the frame (is no t bunched aroun d the frame) . Slide the handle of the gr ass catcher frame through the slot in the hardt op cove r as shown in F igure 8.

Recoil Starter The recoil starter handle is attach ed to the han dle and is used to star t the engine.
