7 En Digital connection of an external device You can con nect an exte rnal device that has a coaxial digital audio output, such as a DVD player, to the BD/DVD input jack of the s ound bar. NOTE • Select the BD/DVD key on the remote control for the input source.
8 En Operations Indicat ors The indicators on the top panel flash or light up, to indicate the operation and setting status. In this manual, illustr ations of the nine in-line i ndicators are used f or explanation.
9 En Decoder indicat ion The sound bar suppo rts the following audio signals. You can check the type of the input audio signal by t he color of the indicator. 10 En Listening to the sound from a Bluet ooth device You can play back wirelessly f rom Bluetooth devices, such as a smartphone or digital music player.

12 En Settings Once you program the sound bar, you can cont rol it with your T V’s remote control for functions such as turning on/off the TV and sound bar simultaneously, or volume up/ down and muting/unmuting of the sound bar. 1 Turn off the T V. 2 Turn off the s ound bar.

14 En Clearing all programmed functions 1 With the so und bar turned of f, hold down the LEARN key on the sound bar’s rem ote control for more than 3 seconds (for entering the learning mo de). When the sound bar is in t he learning mode, the indicators on the top panel flash as shown below.
15 En By enabling the aut o power standby function, you can av oid forgetting to turn off the sound bar after use, or if you fall asleep while watching TV. NOTE • When the auto power standby function is enabled and one of the following conditions is met, the sound bar will automatically turn off.

If the problem you are experienc ing is not listed below or if the inst ructions below do not help, turn off the sound bar, disconnect the power cable, and contact the nearest aut horized Yamaha dealer or service center.
