5 Contr ols and Connectors ■ Fr ont P anel 1 PO WER ON/OFF Switch After connecting the PW5000 to the PM5000 console using the cable supplied with the PM5000, and after plugging the PW5000 po wer cord into an appropriate AC outlet, use this switch to turn po wer to the PM5000 ON or OFF .
6 ■ Rear P anel 8 DC P ARALLEL INPUT Connector This connector is used to connect two PW5000 units in parallel. T wo PW5000’ s can be connected in this way to distribute the po wer load, thus reducing the load on each unit, and to ensure uninterrupted failsafe operation in the ev en that one unit shuts down.
