NS-AP9500M/9600E 2 CONSUMER PRECA UTIONS Read these precautions carefully bef ore setting up your NS-AP9500M/9600E speak ers. Since these speak ers can be w all mounted, it is essential that they are firmly secured. Be sure to consult a reliable source about the best type of hanger f or y our par ticular wall’ s construction.
NS-AP9500M/9600E 3 UNP A CKING After unpacking, chec k that the following items are contained. F ront speakers x 2 (NS-AP9500S) Surround speakers x 2 (NS-AP9600S) F asteners for the center speak er x .
NS-AP9500M/9600E 4 Stand mounting the front speaker s Y ou can use the supplied speaker stands SPS-9500T f or table top installation. F or assembly instructions, please ref er to the SPS-9500T owner’ s manual which can be f ound in the SPS-9500T box.
NS-AP9500M/9600E 5 Attaching the non-skid pads to the surr ound speakers Place the satellite speakers on a sturdy , vibration-free surface , such as a well-built stand. Attach the included non-skid pads to the bottom of the surround speakers to pre vent the speak ers from slipping.
NS-AP9500M/9600E 6 P ositioning the center speaker Place the center speaker on top of the TV , on the floor in front of the TV , or inside the TV rack so that it is stab le.
NS-AP9500M/9600E 7 CONNECTIONS T O THE RECEIVER CONNECTIONS Check to mak e sure that the receiver has been turned off before making any speak er connections. Connect the (+) terminal of the receiver to the (+) terminal of the speaker . Connect the (–) terminal of the receiver to the (–) terminal of the speaker .
