3 IMPORTANT INFORMATI ON FOR INSTALLI NG THE APPLIANCE The cooker c an be installed s eparately, as a freestanding unit, on a plinth, or bet ween kitchen uni ts or bet ween a kitchen unit a nd the wall. If installing the appliance as a freestanding cooker, screw the height ad justable telescopic legs supplied to the base of the appliance.
4 For ease of service, the cooker sho u ld be connected with a Flexible Hose, which complies with AS/NZ S 1869 (AGA Approved), 10mm ID, class B or D, between 1 - 1.

6 BEFORE LEAVING When the installation is complete, always check for gas leaks using a soapy solu tion. Never use a flame to make this check. Ignite all burners on high flam e to ensure correct operation of gas valves, burners and ignition.

9 USING THE 9 + 0 SWITCH (Left oven) The 9 + 0 switch installed in the multifun ction oven models is used, along with the thermostat, to control the electric fan and the oven elements since t hey can be turned on by turni ng the 9 + 0 switch knob and the thermostat knob.

12 ABNORMAL OPERATION Any of the following are considere d to be abnormal operation an d may require servicing: • Yellow tipping of the burner flame. • Burners failing to remain alight. • Sooting up of cooking utensils. • Bu rners extinguished by cupboard doors.
