2 About the Backup Battery A backup battery (lithium battery) is used to keep internal data (settings) from being lost, even when the power cord is unplugged. 4 How to use the DG-1000 ■ First, acquire sound 1. With the DG-1000 and power amp (guitar amp) power s witched OFF , connect the guitar to the INPUT jac k on the front panel.
