Ther e are d ecisions to make befor e remov ing the Printer from t he packing . 1. Remove th e four car dboar d supports and the Styro f oam packing from the top of the Pr inter.

Open the Sca nner Stan d car ton. 2. Ensure tha t the follow ing parts ar e included i n the car ton: 1.

It attaches to the l eft side of the unit and c onsists of 10 bi ns and a hi gh capacity bi n.

Installi ng the Sorter/ Stack er 1. Setting up the D ocuCo lor 2006 Xerox Do cuColo r 2006 1-61 CA UT ION Do not r emove the plastic ti e wrap on the metal roll er under the j am clearance cov er. The tie wr ap holds a se nsor wire out of the w ay, as illustrated in the figure below.

Perform on e of the foll owing : • If the DocuC olor 2006 does not hav e the optional duplex tray , ensure tha t the v ertical edge o f the spacer plate is positi oned to the rig ht, near the v ertical edge of the attac hment plat e.
