4 Pre-Delivery Service of Mo wer b y D ealer If you are not completel y familia r with the Safet y Instruction Manual read it now before proceeding with the Pre-Deli v ery Service of the mower. Only your authorized Wright dealer should perform the Pre- Delivery Serv ice of the mower.
5 • Before testing the blade clutch/brake operation , make sure the area is clear and there is nothing vulnerable to possible throw n objects from under the mower. No one should be nea r the mower deck or in its line of discharge at this or at any time.

7 WARNING User Clothing: DO NOT operate the m ower while wearing sandals, ten nis shoes, s neak ers, or shorts . Always wear long non- baggy pants. W ear high- top leather work boots with thick , textured tread, soft-r ubber soled at al l times. Hard or sm ooth soled shoes ar e too sli ppery for a go od footin g on mower p latform .

9 Operation on Slopes DO NOT operate on stee p slopes. Do not operate the m ower on s lopes s teeper than you can feel secur e about t he traction of the tires and the sta bility of the m ower. Do not operate the mower on slopes at a ll when the grass is wet.
10 Using a Spark A rrester The engine in this m achine is not equ ipped wit h a spark arrester m uffler. It is in violatio n of California Public Resourc es Code Section 444 2 to use or operate the en.

12 How to Stop and Park t he Mower Come to a complete stop. If the blades are on, turn them off using the s witch on the instrument panel. Make sure the control levers are in the exact neutral position.
