3 PRE-DELIVERY SERVICE OF MOWER BY DEALER Before proceeding with the Pre-Delivery Service of your mower, please read the safety instruction s manual in its entirety. Only your authorized Wright dealer should perform the Pre-Delivery Service of the mower.
4 Before testing t he blade clutch/ brake operat ion, make sure the ar ea is clear an d there is nothin g vulnerable to possible thrown objects fro m under the mower. No one shou ld be near the mow er deck or in its line of discharge at t his or at any t ime.

6 WA RNING User Clothing DO NOT operate the mow er while wearing san dals, tennis shoes, snea kers, or shorts. Alway s wear long non-baggy pants. W ear high-top leather steel-to ed work boots with t hick, textured t read, soft-rubber soled at all ti mes.
7 Initial Operating S afety Guidelines • Read and understand t he warnings on the instrument panel o f the mow er. • Keep a firm hold on t he stationary handle at all times. • Keep both feet on the f oot platfor m at all times. • Know the controls and how to stop quickly.
8 Zero-Radius Turn Operation During zero-rad ius turns (when one mower whee l rotates backwards while the ot her rotates forw ard) drive extra slow ly to reduce the poss ibility of losing traction, or contro l, or becomin g dizzy . This will help prevent y ou from being thr own off the mower.

10 OPERATI NG INSTRUCT IONS If you are not completely familiar with the Safety Instruction Manual read it now before proceeding with the operation of the mower. REMEMBER THERE ARE CERTAIN PRECAUTIONS LISTED IN THIS MANUAL THAT YOU MUST NOW TAKE BEFORE STARTING THE MOWER.
11 Use caution if it is y our first time. Now try moving the hand control lever s, one at a time, very slightly, forward and backw ard. Gradua lly increase your speed until y ou are well acqua inted with t he operation of the ha nd controls and the mower’s behavior.

15 Seat A d justments The Sport X seat is equipped with the ability t o adjust the seat up a nd down as well as lock the seat in the down pos ition to av oid seat bounce while standing. (F igure 1) Height Adjustment: • Loosen lower seat mounting hardware, • Removing upper bolts.
