5 Do not repair or replace any part of this appliance unless specifically recommended in this book. All other service should be performed by a qualified technician. T o avoid motor bearing damage and noisy and / or unbalanced impellers, keep drywall spray , construction dust, etc.

8 In delay-off mode, both the DELA Y LED and the corresponding blower speed LED will b e illuminated. I f the blower is on high speed and the DELA Y button is pressed, the blower will stay on high speed for five minutes. It will t hen switch to low speed for an additional five minutes before turning off.
9 Protective Polish: Apply to the surface to maintain luster and protect from some food s tains. Use a soft, non-abrasive stainless steel cleaner like Signature Polish (see side note) and apply with a soft lint-free cloth. F IL TER C ARE The aluminum mesh filters should be cleaned approximately every month, depending on use.
10 SER VICE INFORMA TION When requesting information, literature, replacement parts or service, always refer to t he model and serial number of your down- draft. This information is found on the product rating plate, located above the airbox on the f ront side of the unit.
