22 Insert a micro-SIM card With the metal contact s facing down, align the micro-SIM card with the mark next to the card slot, and fully insert the micro-SIM card into the card slot, until the micro-SIM card is lock ed in place . T o av oid d amaging your phone and SIM ca rd, don’t use a Nano SIM card or a SIM card ada pter .
23 Insert a microSD card With the metal cont acts facing down, alig n the microSD car d with the mark next to the card slot, and fully inser t th e micr oSD card into th e card slot, u ntil the microSD car d is locked in place. • The phone supports microSD cards up to 64 GB in size.
24 Install the back co v er 1. Align the back c over onto the top of your phone . 2. Press the sides and the bottom of the back co ver against your phone to lock the back cover into place.
25 Charge y our phone Y our phone’ s battery is not full y charged when you first unpack y our phone. Fully charge t he batter y befor e using the phone. 1. Insert the smaller end of the USB cable int o your phone’ s m icro USB port. 2. Insert the larger end of the USB cable into the USB wall charger .
26 4. Disconnect the phone and t he USB wall charger when charging is complete. T urn your phone on/off • T urn on: Press and hold the P ower button. • T urn off: Press an d hold the Pow er bu tton > touc h Pow e r o f f > OK . • Full y charging the batter y takes appro ximately 3 to 3.

34 Settings Open the Settings app to change phone s ettings. Home settings Change Home screen settings. Check notifications When the st atus bar shows notifica tions, swipe down from the statu s bar at the top to open th e notification dra wer : • T ouch a notification to open an associated app.
35 Use the Quick Settings Use the Quick Sett ings to quickly en able/disable WLAN and mobile data connections, adjust brightness , and access the Settings app and other featu res. 1. Open the Quick Settings: • Swipe down the notif ication dra wer and touch at the top right.
36 2. Swipe the Quick Settings scre en up an d down, and touch a setting icon to turn on/off or ch ange the setting. • T o change the settings available fr om the Quick Settings: 1. T ouch to enable the edit mode. 2. T ouch to select the settings that y ou want to displa y in the Quick Settings.
37 Put y our phone to sleep • Y ou can pr ess the Po wer button to turn off the screen an d put your phone to sleep. • When your phone is on and left idle fo r a set period, it turns off th e screen and goes into sleep mode automaticall y . W ake up y our phone an d unlock the screen 1.
38 Na vigate the lock screen Y ou can use widgets and open the Camera app directly fr om the lo ck screen, without needing to unlock the scre en. Start the camera from the lock scr een Swipe left from the right edge of the lock screen. The camera viewfinder appears .

40 Set up an Internet connection T o browse the W eb, send email, and pe rf orm o ther online activities, a WLAN (Wireless Loc al Area Network , IEEE 802.11 b/g/n supported) or mobile data connection is required. Connect to a WLAN network 1. T ouch Settings > WIRELESS & N ETW ORKS .
41 4. T ouch a WLAN to connect t o it. T o connect to a secur ed network indicated by , enter a pas sword and touch Connect . 5. When the stat us bar at the top shows , your phone’ s WLAN connection is succes sful. Enable y our phone’ s mobile data connection T ouch Settings > More.
42 Add y our accounts Using certain apps such as Em ail or Pla y Store requires you to set up and sign in to yo ur personal account on y our phone. 1. T ouch Settings > AC C O U NT S > Add account . 2. T ouch the type of acc ount you wish to ad d.
43 3. T ouch to select the data t ypes that you wish to sync automatically (for example, Gmail or Contacts ). T ouch > Sync now to manually sync the selected data types. Remo ve y our account 1. T ouch Settings > ACCOUN TS > your account type (f or example , Google ).
44 Manag e y our location data Y ou can let y our phone collect you r location data from WL AN, mobile networks, GPS satellites, and Google’ s locat ion ser vice. T o estimate your loca tion, apps that ha ve y our permission ma y use your location data to deliver lo cation-based ser vices, such as local weather forecast, traffic data, etc.

46 Enter and edit text Use the Google K eyboard When yo u touch a text box wher e you want to e nter text, the Goo gle Ke y b o a r d appears. Input words using g esture typing 1. On the k eyboard, slide y our finger acr oss the letters of the wor d you want to input.
47 Cop y and paste text 1. Select text: T ouch and hold or double-tap to select text. 2. When the selected text highlights, drag the tabs / to change selection. 3. 53 Export to SIM card Contacts sa ved on y our phone or account will be co pied to your micr o-SIM card. Import from SD card Contacts sav ed as vCard files on y our microSD card or internal phone storage will be copied to your account, phone, or micro-SIM card.

Smile The camera captures a photo imme diately when the viewfinder detects a smile on a person’ s face.
70 Pan o r am a Y ou can create a 360-degree panorama. 1. Frame one side or the other of the scene you want to include in a panorama. 2. T ouch . Pan slowly and steadil y across the scene y ou want to include in the panorama. 3. When you reach the end of your shot, touch .
71 Denoise Reduces a p hoto’ s dark or bright spots. EV Lets you capture thr ee photos of d ifferent exposur e values. 1. T ouch to capture thr ee photos with these values: EV 0, EV +2, EV -2. 2. Swipe to view the photo s. T ouch an d hold the photo thumbnails to select/deselect the photos.

87 Encr ypt phone Encrypt all data on y our phone. Y ou must enter a n umeric PIN or passw ord to decr ypt your phone each time you turn it on. Encr y ption is irrev ersible . The only wa y to rev ert to an unencrypted phone is to perf orm a factor y data res et, which erases all yo ur data.
88 V erify apps Some apps can harm your phone. Y ou ca n choose t o verify apps in order to help pr event harmf ul software fr om being installed on y our phone.
89 Automatic restor e Selecting this option lets your phon e restore backed up set tings and data when reinstalling apps. Factory data reset Perf orming this act ion will restore y our phone to its fa.
90 Check phone information T ouch Settings > About phone . Y ou can vie w your phone’ s status including battery , IMEI, IP addr ess, serial number , etc .
91 Update y our phone’ s operating system • When your p hone has a WLAN or mobile data connection, its Android system automatically chec ks for syst em updates and notifies y ou. Swipe down the notification draw er and to uch the system update notification to start the update process.

94 Internet connectivity I ha ve trouble connecting to WLAN. Check the following to en sure that: • Y o ur phone’ s WLAN is turned on. • If the WLAN connection icon doesn’ t appear on the status bar or shows poor signals, connect your pho ne to another WLAN access point that has strong signals.
95 Phone system/apps Wh y can’ t I download apps from the Inter net? Check the following to en sure that: • Y o ur phone has a WLAN or mo bile data connection. • Y o ur phone has enough stora ge space to sav e your do wnloads. • The micr oSD card where y ou wish to sa ve your do wnloads is correctl y inserted in your phone.

An important point after buying a device BenQ T3 (or even before the purchase) is to read its user manual. We should do this for several simple reasons:
If you have not bought BenQ T3 yet, this is a good time to familiarize yourself with the basic data on the product. First of all view first pages of the manual, you can find above. You should find there the most important technical data BenQ T3 - thus you can check whether the hardware meets your expectations. When delving into next pages of the user manual, BenQ T3 you will learn all the available features of the product, as well as information on its operation. The information that you get BenQ T3 will certainly help you make a decision on the purchase.
If you already are a holder of BenQ T3, but have not read the manual yet, you should do it for the reasons described above. You will learn then if you properly used the available features, and whether you have not made any mistakes, which can shorten the lifetime BenQ T3.
However, one of the most important roles played by the user manual is to help in solving problems with BenQ T3. Almost always you will find there Troubleshooting, which are the most frequently occurring failures and malfunctions of the device BenQ T3 along with tips on how to solve them.
