7 CONTROL P ANEL & REMOTE CONTROL 1. ON/OFF: T urns on / of f the air purifier . 2. F AN: Sets fan speed setti ng in the cycle of High –> Medium –> Low – > Silent. 3. S ILENT : Sets the air purifier to run at a noise level below 35 dB to ensure sound sleep.
8 REMOTE CONTROL OPERA TION 1. ON/OFF: T urns on / off the air purifier . 2. LOCK: Press the “LOCK” (No. 2) button on remote c ontrol to lock the air purifier . All the buttons on the air purifier and the remote control are disabled except the “LOCK” button on the remote control.
9 • The remote control is loaded with a CR2025 battery in adv ance. Before use, please pull of f the battery insulating plastic. • Aim the emitter of the remote control to receiver in the front of the air purifier . The maximum sig nal transmissi on dist ance is approxi mately 15 feet .
10 INST ALLA TION 1. The best location to inst all the air purifier is opposite a window or a door , this creates optimal air circulation within the room. 2. If it is used in an air-conditioned room, pl ace the air purifier opposite the air conditioner , this creates optim al air circulation within the room.
11 ► Replacing HEP A filter • The HEP A f ilter needs to be replaced every 2,000 working hours or when the HEP A icon flashes on the LCD display . The higher level of pollutants , the shorter the lifesp an of the filter . • Remove the front cover , the pre-filter and the old HEP A filter .
12 • Remove the photo-catalyst filter and use a vacuum cleaner with a nozzle or brush attachment on lower power setting to clean the dirt and dust from the filter . ► Replacing the UV Lamp The UV lamp should be repl aced every 15,000 working hours.
