This thermostat is intended for use with a low v oltage NEC Class II system. Do not use this thermostat with a line voltage system. If in doubt about whether y our wiring is millivolt, line, or low v oltage, ha ve it inspected b y a qualifi ed heating and air conditioning contractor or electrician.
2 INST ALLA TION REMO VE OLD THERMOST A T 1. Shut off electricity at the main fuse box until installation is complete. Ensure that electr ical power is disconnected. 2. Remov e the front cov er of the old thermostat. With wires still attached, remov e wall plate from the w all.
3 ENERGY MANA GEMENT RECO VER Y (EMR) When the EMR f eature is activated the thermostat’ s microcomputer calculates the time it will take to change the room temperature to the ne xt heat or cool program setting.

5 The confi guration menu allo ws you to set certain ther mostat operating characteristics to your system or personal requirements. T o enter the menu: Set your thermostat to OFF and press the and buttons simultaneously . The display will show the fi rst item in the confi guration menu.
6 Cooling System 1. Mov e SYSTEM switch to COOL position. 2. Press to adjust ther mostat setting below room temperature. The blow er should come on immediately on high speed, f ollowed b y cold air circulation. Howe v er , if the setpoint temperature is fl ashing, the compressor loc kout f eature is operating (see Confi guration menu, item 6).
