Mounting Guidelines • Mount the unit as low as possible near the c enter of the windshield. • Do not mount the unit behind wipers, ornaments, mirrored sunscr eens, etc. These o bstructions have metal surfaces which can a ffect radar and laser signals and reduce c ritical warning time.

Quiet Mode Quiet mode cancels audio during an alert and any new al ert within 20 seconds. After 20 seconds, 2 bee ps ar e provided on any new alert and unit then remains quiet.
VG-2 Mode See Option Select Mode to turn this feature o n/o ff . When a VG-2 signal is detected, the VG-2 a lert is sounded and the display flashes “VG-2”. After 3 seconds the audio is canceled and the d isplay no longer flashes. This cycle is repeated if the VG-2 signal is detected again.
Stay Aler t Feature The Stay Alert Feature is designed to test a driver’ s alertness. T o engage (when the unit is not alarming) : • Pr ess and hold the City button for approximately 2 s econds. Release the button during or immediately after t he alert is given.

POP™ Mode POP ™ Mode is a featur e on some radar guns operating on K and Ka bands. When the gun is in POP ™ Mode and activated, a brief burst of ener gy , less that 1/15 of a second, is transmitted and the vehicle’ s speed is quickly acquired.
