Quiet Button – Pressing QUIET before a signal is detected engages Auto Quiet Mode which automatically reduces the audio level after the initial warning to a low audio level setting. Pressing QUIET during a radar/laser encounter silences audio alerts, while allowing visual alerts to keep you informed.

VG-2 Detection Mode The VG-2, also known as a “radar detector detector ,” is a special receiver used by police to detect signals radiated by a radar detector . See page 21 for more information on VG-2. Press the VG-2 button once. Unit beeps once for on, twice for off.
During the summer months, avoid prolonged exposur e to direct sunlight by removing your unit fr om the dash when your vehicle is parked for an extended period of time. Do not spray water , cleaners, or polishes directly onto the unit. The spray may penetrate through the openings and damage the unit.
