P age 5 Unobstructed Air ow Unobstructed air ow to and from both the ev aporator and condenser is a critical factor in the system ’ s over- all per formance . Make sure there is a 3 ft. horizontal clearance in the fr ont of both units. This will assure that the air can circulate in an ecien t manner .

P age 7 Installing the Condensing Unit The condensing unit can be mount ed inside a utilit y area of the home or outside utilizing the r equired outdoor condensing unit housing . The condenser requires a dedica ted 20 amp circuit, non-GFI. Make sure there is a minimum three-foot horizontal clearanc e in front and rear of the unit.

P age 11 LIQUID MEASURING THERMOMETER Most WhisperKOOL syst ems come equipped with a liquid temperature measuring thermometer pr obe . This self calibrating probe c ontains a sensor chip, which actually communicates back and f or th to the thermostat.

P age 13 C ONTROL P ANEL OPER A TION Button Normal F unc tions ON/OFF • The ON/OFF button allow s the customer the convenienc e of turning the refrigeration system ON or OFF , from the contr ol panel. This fea ture does not disconnect power from the unit , and the condenser fan will continue t o run in the OFF position.

The ER button is locat ed at the top L/H side of the control . The ER feature is activated b y pressing the ER button one time , and the ER logo will appear on the digital display .

After compressor runs a f ew minutes, check the refrigeran t “ sight glass” in the ¼” copper tubing. L ook for bubbles. If no bubbles are present and compr essor is running, refrigerant sy stem is running OK .
