6 MICROWAVE OVEN CONTROL Disp la y When power is first suppl ied to the microwave oven , a “:” will blink in the display . T ouch OFF (CANCEL OFF) to stop the blinking. If t he “:” blinks in the disp lay at any other time, a pow er failure has occurred.

8 MICROWAVE OVEN USE A magnetron in the ov en produces microwaves which reflect off the metal floor , walls and ceiling a nd pass through the t urnt able and appropriate cookware to the food.
9 Cookware and Din nerware Cookware and dinnerware must fi t on the tur nt able. Alw ays use oven mitts or pot holders when handling b ecause any dish ma y become hot from heat transf erred from the food. Do not use cookwar e and din nerwar e with gold or silver t rim.
10 Manual Cook ing To U s e : 1. Place food on t he tur ntabl e and close the d oor . 2. T ouch COOK TIME, then enter leng th of time to cook. If cooking with 100% power , skip Ste p 3. 3. T ouch COOK POWER, t hen enter the des ired power level. See “Micr owave Cooki ng Power” chart .
11 Preset Cooking Times and cooking power h ave been preset for ce rtain microwavable foods. Use the follow ing chart as a guide. *S e n s o r f u n c t i o n ** Differ ences in th e amount of fat, meat, thickness, a nd curing process affect results. Average is 16 slices per pou nd.

13 MICROWAVE OVEN CARE General Cleaning IMPORT AN T : Before cleaning, make sure all controls are off and the microwave oven is cool. Always follow l abel instru ctions on cleaning product s. Soap, water and a soft cloth or s ponge are su ggested unless otherwise noted.
14 Replacin g Filters The grease filters should be removed and cleane d at least once a month. Do not opera te the microwave oven with out the fil ters in place. The ch arcoal filte rs cannot be washed an d should be replaced every 6 to 12 mont hs. See “Ass istance or Service” to reor der filters.
