3 REFRIGERATOR USE Install Air Filter (on so me mo dels) On some models, your refriger ator's accessory packet in cludes an air filter , which must be insta lled prio r to use. On so me models, the air filter is alr eady installed at t he factory .
4 Installing the Pr oduce Pr eserver (on some mo dels) The Produce Pr eserver pouches should be installed i n their housing, which is located along an interior side wall of the crisper or convertible drawer . NOTE: For best performance, always use two pouches.
5 Adjusting the Co ntrols For your convenience, your refrigera tor and freezer contr ols are preset at the factory . When you fi rst instal l your refrigerator , make sure that the contr o ls ar e still set t o the “mid-settings.” The fac tory reco mmended set points ar e 37°F (3°C) for the refrig erator and 0°F (-18°C) for the fr eezer .
6 Disabling Sounds ■ T o turn off all control and di spenser sounds, press the OPTIONS button to enter Options mo de, then press OPTIONS again. ■ T o tur n all sounds back on, press the OPTION S button to enter Options mode (unless you are already in Options mode), then press O PTIONS again.
7 3. Using your hand (not the measuring cup), press and re lease the water dispenser pad in orde r to dispense water to the 1 cup f ill line. NOTE: If overfilling or spilli ng occurs, discar d the water and press “Back ” to restart the calibration process.
8 The Ice D ispenser Ice dispenses fr om the ice make r storage bin in the freezer when the dispenser pad is pre ssed. T o turn off th e ice mak er , see “Ice Maker and Storage Bin.” Y our ice maker can produce both crushed and cubed ice. Before dispensing ice, select which type o f ice you pr efer by pr essing the ICE TYPE but ton.

10 Changing the W ater Filter 1. Locate the water f ilter in the top-right corner of the r efrigerator compartment. 2. Lift open the filter cover door . The filter will be r eleased and then eject as the door is opened. 3. When the door is completely open, pull the filter s traight out.
