6 Install Dehumidif ier—Existing Fu rnace or Air Handler NOTE : When usin g the existi ng duct syst em, the dehumi difier fan and the exis ting syste m fan must be interl ocked by using the low volt age in terlock method pr ovided with the dehumid ifier .
7 V ertical I nstallation Install Dehumid ifier—Ex isting Furna ce or Air Handler with F resh Air D uct NOTE : Lo cate the out side air intake away from unde sirable fumes, gases or odors. Advantages of fresh air ventilation: ■ Outside air is fi ltered before entering th e building .

11 Complete Installat ion 1. If the deh umidifier is installe d on an exist ing system, seal all joints in the retur n air sys tem between t he discharge air sup ply du ct an d th e re turn air su pp ly duc t on th e deh umi difi er and the retur n air duct of t he existi ng system.
