4 The An ti- Tip Bra cket The range will no t tip during normal use. However , the range c an tip if y ou apply too mu ch force or weight to the open door wit ho ut t he anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.
5 COOKTOP USE Cooktop Con trols Electric ign iters au tomatically light the su rface bur ners when control knobs are turned t o LITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw ar e on the grate. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or without cookware on th e grate.
6 Burner cap: Always keep the bur ner cap in place w hen using a surface bu rner . A clean bu rner cap w ill help avoi d poor ignition and uneven flames. Al ways clean the bur ner cap after a s pillover and routinely remove and clean the c aps according to the “General Cleani ng” section.

8 Ti m er The timer c an be set in hou rs or minutes up to 12 h ours and 59 minutes , and counts down the set t ime either in hours and minutes, or in minut es and seconds. The t imer does not start or stop the oven. To S e t : 1. Press TIMER. The t imer indicator light will light up .

10 Broil ing BROILER The br oiler is located below the oven door . The broi ler pan and grid roll out for easy access. Always broil with the broiler drawer and oven door closed. ■ T o av oid damage to the br oiler , do not step on or apply weight to the br oiler door while it is open.
