4 4. (OPTIONAL) Add liquid fabr ic softener . NOTE: Do not spil l or drip any fabric soften er onto the clothes. Undiluted fabric softener can stain fabrics. Always dilute fabric soften er with warm water . Us ing too muc h fabri c softene r can make some items (diapers and towels) nonabsorbent.
