2 INSTALLATION I NSTR UCTIO NS Unpack the Ice Mak er Removing Pack aging Materials Remove tape and glue fr om your ice maker before using. ■ T o remov e any remaining tape or glue fr om the exterior of the ice maker , r ub the ar ea briskly wi th your th umb.
3 Electrical Requirements Befor e you move you r ice maker into i ts final location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection : A 115 v olt, 60 Hz., AC onl y , 15- or 20-amp e lectrical supply , properly grounded in accordance with th e National Elect rical Code and local codes and ordina nces, is required.
4 3. Now you are ready to connect th e copper tubing. Use ¹⁄₄ " (6.35 mm) OD soft copper tubin g for the c old water s upply . ■ Ensure that you ha ve the proper length need ed for the job. Be su re both ends of the copp er tubing are cut squa re.
5 If Ice Maker Is Currently Installed NOTE : I f ice maker is not instal led, pleas e proceed to “Drain Pump I nstallat i on” se ction. 1. Push the s elector s witch to the Off posit ion. 2. Unplug ice maker or disconn ect power . 3. T urn off wa ter suppl y .
6 5. Instal l vent t ube ( ⁵⁄₁₆ " ID x 32" [81 c m]) t o drain pump re serv oir vent. Use one ⁵⁄₈ " small a djustab le clam p, suppli ed. See “Parts Locati ons” illustration. NOTE : Do not in stal l hou seh old dr ain tube at th is ti me.

8 Con nect in g the Drain After ensuri ng that the d rain sy stem is adequ ate, foll ow these steps to p roperly place the ice maker: 1. Plug into a gr ounded 3 pr ong outl et. 2. Styl e 1 —F or grav ity d rain syst em, pu sh the ic e maker in to position so tha t the ice maker drain tu be is posi tioned over the PVC dr ain reducer .
9 6. Remove the sc rew and door stop at cor ner D. Remov e the screw and end cap at corn er B. Place the d oor stop at cor ner B, and tigh ten screw . Pl ace the en d cap at cor ner D, and tigh ten screw . 7. Depending on your model, the brand badge for the front door of y our i ce maker may be in the p ack age w ith th e Use and Care Guide.
10 3. Instal l the white decora tive screws on the opposite side of the door . 4. Plug into a gr ounded 3 pr ong outl et. 11 6. Unplug the ice l evel sens or from the right side of the cu tter grid. Pull the ice le vel sensor do wn and forward away from the cutter grid. 7.

Vér ifier qu’il n’ est pas en dommagé, défor mé ou coincé entre le placard et la mach ine à glaçons. 15. Fixe r le tu be de vida nge de ¹⁄₂ ” de diamètre inte rne x 10 pi (3 m) au tuyau d’ évacuation de la pompe.
19 Système avec pompe de vidange (sur certain s modèle s) IMPORT ANT : ■ Raccorder le tuyau de v idange de l a machine à glaçons à votre drain de vidan ge conformément aux code s et règlements locaux et aux pres criptions des instal lations de plomberie et au Cod e Inter nation al de plomberi e.
20 Inversion du sens de m ontage de la butée d e porte et des protect ions d’ angle 1. Débrancher la machine à glaçons ou d éconnecter la source de courant é lectriqu e. 2. Retirer les vis de poi gnée et la p oignée (sur certains modèles). 3.
21 Char nière inférieure Inversion du sen s d'installat ion de la gâche de po rte 1. Ôter le s vis b lanches dé coratives du côté oppos é de la p orte et les mettre d e côté. 2. Ôter les vis du l oquet de port e mag nétique et les r éinsta ller du côté opposé de l a porte.
22 3. Pousser v ers le haut su r la partie supé rieur e avant de la machine à glaçon s pour repérer les vis de niv ellement qui se trouvent sur la parti e inférieure avant de la machine à glaçons.
23 10. Reti rer , nettoyer et réin staller la pel le à glace et son support. R EMARQ UE : Sur c ertain s modè les, la pell e à glace s e trouv e dan s la part ie supéri eur e gauche d e l'appa r eil. Sur d'autr es, elle se tr ouve d ans la p artie inférie ur e gauche.
