3 In the State of Massachusetts, the following installation instructions apply: ■ Installations and repairs must be performed by a qualified or licensed contractor, plumber, or gasfitter qualified or licensed by the State of Massachusetts. ■ If using a ball valve, it shall be a T-handle type.

5 Mobile Home - Additional Inst allation Requireme nts The installation of this range must conform to the Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Sta ndard, Title 24 CFR, Part 3280 (formerly the Federal Standar d for Mobile Home Construction and Safety , Title 24, HUD Part 280 ).
6 Gas Supply Requirements Observe all governi ng codes and ordinances. IMPORT ANT : This installation must conform with all local codes and ordinances. In the absence of local codes, installation must conform with American National Sta ndard, National Fuel Gas Code ANSI Z223.
7 Burner Input Requirements Input ratings shown on the mode l/serial rating plate are for elevations up to 2,000 ft (609.6 m). For elevations above 2,000 ft (609.6 m), ratings are reduced at a rate of 4% for each 1,000 ft (304.8 m) above sea level (not applicable fo r Canada).
8 3. Determine and mark centerline of the cutou t space. The mounting can be installed on either the left side or right side of the cutout. Position mounting bracket against the wall in the cutout so that the V - notc h of the bracket is 12 ⁵³⁄₆₄ " (32.
9 3. Use a combination wrench and pliers to attach the flexible connector to the adapters. Check that conne ctor is not kinked. Complete Connection 1. Locate gas pr essure r e gulator in the back of the range. IMPORT ANT : Do not remove the gas pr essure regulator .
10 Le ve l Range 1. Place a standar d flat rack in oven. 2. Place level on th e rack and check le velness of the rang e, first side to side; then front to back. 3. If range is not level, pull range forward unt il rear leveling leg is removed from th e anti-tip bracket.
11 4. Remove the battery holder and insert a ne w 9V DC alkaline battery into it. 5. Replace the battery holder i n the plastic battery box with the battery facing the bottom and the blue wires facing up, and close the plastic battery box. 6. Reinstall the metal battery top and secure it with the screw .
12 Check Operation of Cooktop Bur ners 1. If control panel and knobs were removed earlier , reinstall knobs. 2. Push in and turn eac h surface unit control knob to the “LITE” position. The flame should light within 4 seconds. 3. T ur n control knob to the “HI” position after burner li ghts.
13 6. When the flame has been properly adjusted, tur n the oven off and wait for the burner to cool d own. 7. Tighten the shutter screw . 8. Reinstall flame spreader and oven tray . Reinstall the oven racks. 9. Close the oven door . 10. Close the broiler door .
14 GAS CON V ER SIONS Gas conversions from Natural gas to LP gas or from LP gas to Natural gas must be done by a qualified installer . LP Gas Con version T o Conver t Gas Pressu re Regulator 1. T urn manual shutoff valve to the “closed” position. 2.
15 4. Remove the cap fr om the gas pressur e regulator using a flat-blade screwdriver . 5. T ur n the cap over s o “LP” is visible. 6. Reinstall the cap. T o Co nvert Surface Burners 1. Remove bur ner grate, bur ner caps and bur ners. 2. Locate LP gas orif ice spuds for top bur ners in t he literature bag included with the range.
16 T o Conve rt Oven Burner 1. Open the oven d oor and r emove oven racks, oven tray and flame spre ader and set aside. 2. Lift oven burner . The orifi ce sp ud is behind the oven burner air shutter . 3. Locate LP gas orifice spud stamped “56” in the package containing literature supplied with the range.
17 4. Remove the cap fr om the gas pr essur e regulator using a flat- blade screwdr iver . 5. T ur n the cap over so that “N” or “NA T” is visib le. 6. Reinstall the cap. T o Co nvert Surface Burners 1. Remove bur ner grate, bur ner caps and bur ners.
18 T o Conve rt Oven Burner 1. Open the oven d oor and r emove oven racks, oven tray , and flame spre ader and set aside. 2. Lift oven burner . The orifi ce sp ud is behind the oven burner air shutter . 3. Locate Natural gas orifice spud stamped “47” in the package containing literature supplied with the range.
