3 Mobile Home - Addition al Installation Requirements The installat ion of this range must conf orm to the Manufactured Home Cons truction an d Safety S tandar d, Title 24 CF R, Part 328 0 (formerly th e Federal Standar d for Mobile Home Cons truction and Safet y , Ti tle 24, HUD Part 280 ).
4 Electrical Requirements If code s permit a nd a sepa rate grou nd wir e is us ed, it is recommended that a qual ified electric al installer d etermine that the ground path an d wire gauge are in accordance with local codes. Check with a qual ified electric al install er if you are not sure the range is properly grounded.
5 Install Anti-Tip Brack et 1. Remove the an ti-tip bracke t that is taped in the oven cavity . 2. Determine which mounting method to use: floor or wall. 3. For wall mounting method only: Remov e 30" (76.2 cm) wide by 4" (10.2 cm) high section of sheetr ock, with the bottom of the area r emoved to be flush with the floor support slats.
6 Electrical Connection This range is manuf actured with a neutral (whit e) power supply wire and a cabine t-connected green (or ba r e) ground wire twiste d together . 1. Discon nect power . 2. Remove j unction box c over if it i s pres ent. 3. Install a UL listed or CSA approve d conduit connector t o the junct ion box.
7 1. Connect the 2 black wires (C) together using a UL listed wire connector . 2. Connect the 2 whi te wires (D) and the green (or bare) ground wire (of the ran ge cable) us ing a UL li sted wir e conn ector . 3. Connect the 2 r ed wires (G) toge ther using a UL li sted wire connector .
