4 Ele ct rica l Requ ire men ts Befor e you move your ice maker into its fina l location, it is important to make sure you have the proper electrical connection : A 115 V ol t, 60 Hz., AC only 15-amp elec trical s upply , pr operly grounded in accordance with th e National Electri cal Code and local codes and ordinances, i s required.

6 Dra in Con nect ion Gravity Drain Sy stem Connect the ice maker d rain to your dra in in accordance with all state and loc al codes and ordinances. If th e ice maker is provided with a grav ity drain sy stem, follow these guide lines when inst alling drain lin es.
7 Ice Maker Door TOOLS NE EDED: Gat her the r equir ed tools an d parts befor e start ing insta llation . Remov e door 1. Unplug ice maker or disconn ect power . 2. Remove t h e han d le scr ews and hand le (on so me models) . Keep the parts t ogether and set th em aside.
8 Bottom Hinge Reverse Door Catch: 1. Remove the hole plugs from t h e opposite side of the door and set as ide. 2. Remove the sc r ews from the magnetic door catch and replace it on the opp osite side of t he door . 3. Push the h ole plugs into plac e on the opposite si de of the door .
9 5. Cubes fall int o the st orage bin . When t he bin is full, the ice maker shuts off automatical ly and restarts when more ice is needed. Th e ice bin is n ot refrigerate d, and some melt ing will occur . The amount of melting varies wi th room temperature.
10 Condenser A dirty or clogged condenser: ■ Prevents proper airflow . ■ Reduces ice maki ng capacity . ■ Causes higher th an recommended operating temp eratures which may lead t o component fail ure. 1. Unplug ice maker or disconn ect power . 2.
