6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop/Ov en T emperature Contr ols Electri c ignite rs automat ically light the su rface bu rn ers when control knobs are turned to LITE. Before setting a contr ol knob, place filled cookware on the grate. Do not operate a burn er using empty cookware or with out cookware on the grate.
7 4. Clean clogged burner ports with a straight pin as shown. Do not enla r ge or d istort the port . Do not use a woode n toothpick. If the bu rner needs to be adju sted, con tact a trained repair speci alist . 5. Replace the bur ner ca p onto th e bur ner base, making s ure the ali gnment pins are properly aligned w ith th e bur ner cap.

9 Baking and Roasting Do not place food or cookwar e directly on t he oven door or the oven bottom. Before baking and roasting, position th e racks according t o the “Positioning Racks and B akeware” section . When roasti ng, it is not necessary to wait for the oven to preheat before puttin g food in, unles s re comm ended in th e r ecipe.
10 RANGE CARE Remo ving the Oven Bottom The oven bot tom can be removed for st andard cleaning of the oven. Before cleaning, make sure the oven i s completel y cool. T o Rem ove: 1. Remove the oven racks. 2. Place f ingers i n the slots in the bottom p anel.
