2 INST ALLA TION REQUIREMENTS To o l s a n d P a r t s Gather the required tools and parts before startin g installation. The parts supplied ar e in the washer basket.
3 Recessed a rea o r closet installation The dimensions sh own are for the reco mmended spacing allowed (A and B), except the closet door ventilation openings. The dimen sio ns sh own fo r t he c loset do or ve ntil ati on op eni ngs ( C) are the minimu m required.
4 ■ Do not earth to a gas pipe . ■ Check with a qualified electrician if you are not sure the washer is proper ly earthed. ■ Do not have a fuse in the neutral or earth circuit. 5 Loop ed power cor d 1. Firmly grasp the yellow shippin g strap and pul l until both ends are com pletely removed fro m washer . 2. Check that two (2) cotter pins were r emoved with the shippi ng strap. Conn ect Drain Hose Proper connection of the drain hose protects your floors fr om damage due to water leakage.
6 C o n n e c tt h eI n l e tH o s e s The washer mu st be connected to the water faucets u sing the new inlet hoses. Do not use old hoses. Insert new flat washers (supplied) into each end of the inlet hoses. Firmly seat the washers in the couplin gs.
7 Sec ure t he D ra in Ho se 1. Remove the shipping strap from the power cord. Drape the power cor d over the console. 2. Remove any ca rdboar d used to move washer . 3. Wrap the drain hose to the laundry tub leg or drain standpipe with the beaded tie strap.
4. If the washer i s not level, mo ve the washer o ut sligh tly , t ip back, pr op up the fro nt of the washer with the wood block and adjust the feet up o r down as necessary by twisting the feet. T u rn t he feet clockwise to raise the washer or counterclock wise to lower the w asher .
