6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontrols IMPORT ANT : Y our co oktop is fact ory-set f or use wi th Natura l gas. If you wish to use LP gas, a n LP Gas Con version Kit is included with your ne w cooktop. 7 Gas tube opening: Gas mus t flow fr eely thr oughout th e gas tube opening for th e bur ner to light properly . Keep this area free of soil and do not all ow spills, food, clea ning agents or any ot her material to enter the gas tube opening. Protect it from spillovers by always usi ng a burner ca p.
8 ELECTRONIC OVEN CONTROL Disp lay When power is first sup plied to the applian ce, everyt hing on the displa y will l ight up for 1 to 2 seco nds, th en the t ime of da y and “ PF ” will appe ar . Press OFF/C ANCEL to clear “ PF ” from the displa y .
9 Cont rol Lock The Control Loc k shuts down the control pan el pads to preven t unintended use of the oven( s). When the control is locked, only the CLOCK, TIMER SET , TIMER OFF , an d OVEN LIGHT p ads will fu nction. The Con tr ol Lo ck is pre set u nlo cked , but can be lo cked.
10 BAKEWARE Hot air must be able t o circulate around food to cook evenly , so allow 2" (5 cm) of space around bakeware and oven wall s. Use the following c hart as a guide. Bakewa re The bakeware mat erial affects cooking re sults. Follow manufact urer ’ s recommendations an d use the bakeware size recommended in the recipe.

15 Oven L ight( s) The oven light is a standard 15- watt applian ce bulb. It wil l come on when the oven door is op ened. The li ght will no t work during the Self -Cleaning cycl e (on some model s). On some models, when the oven door is closed , press OVEN LIGHT to turn the li ght on or off.
