6 INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS Prepar e Location NOTE: Befor e making cutouts, make sur e there is prope r clearance within the ceiling or wall. 1. Disconnect power . 2. Select a flat surface for assemblin g the range h ood. Place covering over that surface.
7 Power Supply Cable Installation 1. For direct wir e installation s, run the home po wer supply cable according to the National Electric Code or CSA standards and local codes and ordinances. There must be enough wiring from the fused disconnect (or circuit breaker) box to make the connection in the hood electrical termina l box.
8 Complete Installation 1. Install the 75W (max.) Incandescent light bulb. See “Replacing the Inca ndescent Light Bulb” in the “Range Hood Care” section. 2. Replace grease filter if removed. See the “Range Hood Care” section. 3. Check the operation of the ra nge hood fan and light.
9 Replacing the Incandescent Light Bulb T ur n off the range hood and allow the light bulb to cool. 1. Disconnect power . 2. Squeeze the plastic lens cover and remove it fr om the hood. 3. Screw light bulb into socket. 4. Replace lens cover by squeez ing cover and inserting tabs into slots.

17 Installation du cor don d'alimentation 1. Pour les installations à raccordement direct, acheminer le câble d'alimentat ion du domic ile selon les prescriptions du Code national de l’électric ité ou des normes CSA et des codes et règlements locaux.
18 Achever l’installation 1. Installer l'ampoule à incandescen ce de 75 watts (maximum). V oir “Remplacement de l'ampoule à incandescence” à la section “Entretien de la hotte”. 2. Réinstaller le filtre à graisse s' il a été r e tiré.
19 Remplacement de l'ampou le à incandescence Éteindre la hotte et laisser l'ampoule refr oidir . 1. Déconnecter la source de courant électrique. 2. Exercer une pression sur le cabochon en plastique de protection pour pouvoir le r etirer de la hotte.
