6 INSTALLATION I NSTR UCTIONS Prepare L oca tion NOTE : Before making cutouts, make sure ther e is proper clearance wi thin the ce iling or wa ll. 1. Discon nect power . 2. Select a fl at surface for assembli ng the range hood. Pla ce covering over t hat surface.
7 Install Range Ho od 1. Lift the ran ge hood up under cabine t and determi ne final location by centering benea th cabinet. Mark on the underside of cabinet the loca tion of the 4 keyhole mounting slots on t he range hood. Set range hood as ide on a covered surface.
8 Mak e Electrical Connection 1. Discon nect power . 2. Use UL listed wi re connectors and connect w hite wires (A) together . 3. Use UL listed wire connec tors and connect black w ires (B) together . 4. Connect green (or ba re) groun d wir e from power supply to green ground screw in terminal box and securely tighten.
