Important Safety Instructions Gas ranges have been thoroughly tested for safe and effiiient operation. However, as with any appli- ance, there are specific installation and safety precautions which must be followed to ensure safe and satisfactory operation.
Important Safety Instructions Continued l Install or locate the range only in accor- dance with the provided Installation Instruc- tions. h is recommended that the range be installed by a qualified installer. The range must be properly connected to the proper gas supply and checked for leaks.
l Do not use decorative covers or trivets over the surface burners. l Do not heat unopened containers. They could explode. The hot contents could cause burns and container particles could cause injury. l Grease is flammable and should be handled carefully.
Using Your Range Surface burner marker Using the surface burners Control knobs must be pushed In, then turned to the LITE position. The clicking sound is the ignition sparking. To stop the clicking sound after the burner lights, turn the control knob back to a desired setting.
Setting the clock Push In and turn the Minute Timer Knob to set the block. 1. Push In Mlnute Timer Knob and turn cloc~lse until clock shows the correct time of day. 2. Let the Mlnute Timer Knob pop out. Turn clockwise until Minute Timer hand points to OFF.

To change rack position, pull rack out to stop, raise front edge and lift out. When using one rack, the rack should be pfaced so the top of the food will be centered in the oven.

Failure to do so could result In burns, fire or damage. l W6en cleanlng griddle, never uss a metal scouring pad or abrasive cleanser on the grlddle.
Using Your Range Continued Uslng the fifth surface burner 1. Make sure the Griddle/Fifth Burner Control Knob is turned to OFF and the griddle is cool. 2. Remove the griddle cover and griddle from - the cooktop. 3. Install the fifth burner assembly and grate.

Typksl surface burner flame Surface burners Remove the cooktop, following instructions under “Removable cooktop” below. Wipe off surface burners with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth after each use. Gccasionally check the burner flames for proper size and shape as shown.

Using the standard-cleaning oven The standardcleaning oven has to be hand- cleaned. Use warm, soapy water, soapy steel wool pads or a commercial oven cleaner.
