4 The Anti-Tip Br acket The range will not tip during normal use. However , the range c an tip if yo u apply too much for ce or weight to the open d oor wit hou t the anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.

6 COOKTOP USE Cooktop C ontr ols Electric ign iters au tomatically light the su rface bur ners when control knobs are turne d to IGNITE. Before settin g a control knob, place filled cookw are on the grate. Do not ope rate a bur ner using empty cookware or while the grate is unoccu pied.
7 Bur ne r port s: Ch eck burn er fl am es oc cas ion ally for pr op er si ze and shape as shown above. A good flame is blue in color , not yellow . Keep this area free of soil and do not allow sp ills, food, cleaning agen ts or any other materia l to enter the bur ner ports.
8 Style 2 Electronic Oven Contr ols (on some models) Display When p ower is f irst supp lied t o the ap pliance , “ PF ” will appear on the display . P ress CANCEL or OFF/CANCEL t o clear “ PF ” from the dis play . If “ PF ” appears at an y other time, a power fa ilure has occurred.
9 4. Press TIMER OFF or TIMER* CANCE L anytime to cancel the Timer and r eminder tones. Remember , do not p r ess th e CANCEL pad because the oven will tu rn off. T o display t he time of day for 5 se conds when the ti mer is counti ng down, pr ess CLOCK.
10 Spli t Oven Rack (on som e mode ls) Split-Rack wit h Removab le Insert The split-rack with removable insert is a spa ce maximizer . When the two are attached, th ey make a full rack. The insert can also be removed to provide room for lar ge items su ch as a turkey and casseroles.
11 T o Bake or Roast: 1. Press BAK E. 2. Press TEMP or TEMP /TIME “ up ” or “ down ” arr ow pad to set a temperatu re other than 350 ° F (175 ° C) in 5 degree amounts. The bake range can be s et between 170 ° F and 500 ° F (75 ° C and 260 ° C).
12 Wa r m H o l d F e a t u r e (on som e mode ls) IMPORT AN T : Food must be at serving temperature before placing it in the warmed oven. Food may be held up to one hour , however breads an d casseroles may bec ome to dry if left in th e oven during W arm Hold.
13 Style 2 Series Electronic Oven Control (see “ Electronic Oven Contr ols ” section) T o Set a Timed Co ok: 1. Pr ess BAKE . The b ake indic ator light w ill lig ht up. 2. Set th e temp erat ure (op tiona l). 3. Press the TEMP/TIME “ up ” or “ dow n ” arrow pad to ent er a temperatu r e other than th e one displayed.
14 T o Mod ify Sequence Programming : 1. Press UNDO. The last step of the sequ ence will be can celled, an d the step prior to the cance led sequence wil l show on the display for either review or modificat ion.
15 RANGE CA RE Self-Cle aning Cyc le (on som e mode ls) IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sens itive to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Exposure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Alway s move birds to another closed an d well ventilated r oom.
16 5. Press ST ART . The time o f day is di spla yed. The door will automatical ly lock and “ LOC KED ” an d “ DEL A Y ” will appear on t he display . The door will not unlock until th e oven cools. Wh en the start time is reached, th e oven will automatical ly tur n on.
